Erin & Triston - MARRIED

I met Erin's parents a while back at Kailyn & Dharshan's wedding. John & Denise are musicians for the church and provided the music for Kailyn & Dharshan's wedding.

About six months after the wedding I got a call from John saying Erin and Triston and gotten engaged and that they were interested in having me photograph the wedding. The rest is history... Well, not completely. :o)

My assistant, Emily, and I began the morning with Erin & Triston in their respective dressing locations. Erin got dressed at her parents house, and Triston at the house he and Erin would be living in after the wedding. Erin's mom, dad and sister all played a role in getting her dressed. I thought this was a cool way to include each of the family members. Her dad zipped the dress, her sister took care of the buttons, and her mom tied the bow on the back of her dress. (So for anyone wanting to come up with a way to include multiple people in the dressing process, that's a good way to do it!)

You'll have to pay attention to Erin's makeup. It was absolutely flawless. She's not a big makeup wearer, so she wanted something natural and it was totally achieved. It was beautiful!

The ceremony was beautiful! Erin's parents provided the music, which was a special way for them to share in the day.

Even though the day started out rainy and overcast, as the guests were arriving, the clouds parted and the sun started shining. It turned into an absolutely gorgeous day, which allowed us to spend some extra time outside at Zorvino Vineyards where they had their reception.

The theme of the décor matched the reception space. Very rustic and beautiful. Erin & Triston worked hard on all the details and Triston's mom even made all the table numbers for them.

Once at the reception, it was smooth sailing and lots of fun. One of my favorite parts was watching Erin dance in her dress. It had the PERFECT princess-ballgown spin. (It reminded me a little of Janine's dress, which flowed down the stairs like she was Cinderella!)

At the end of the afternoon, Erin & Triston did a garter and bouquet toss. It was EPIC. Just look at the photos, and you'll understand what I mean. Probably one of my favorite and best captures of this event.

Congratulations Erin & Triston! Emily and I had a blast and are so thankful to have been able to share in this time of your lives!
